By the time you read this, the ULD CARE Annual Conference in Bangkok will be just a few days away. We have now published the final program outline and expected attendance list on our website.
Hopefully you will be among the participants and enjoy this opportunity to engage in 2 1/2 days of valuable discussions during which we will be charting the action plan for ULD CARE for the next 12 months.
This month we are going to take a break from our traditional practice of having 2 to 3 articles with each of our bimonthly newsletters, considering our Annual Conference is just around the corner, not to mention that many of our readers are probably struggling to catch up with a backlog of emails after the summer holidays. Nevertheless, there is no shortage of material to write about.
Probably the most significant event since our last newsletter is the publication by the FAA of AC 120-85 A. This is the revision of the first edition published in 2005 and it comes with considerable additional content. It is downloadable here.
ULD CARE would certainly recommend that members and readers familiarize themselves with the content of this document as it is quite likely to have some impact on your cargo/ULD operations.
Another highlight we are pleased to announce is that the ULD CARE LinkedIn page is now operational. ULD CARE plans to use this LinkedIn page to provide followers with timely and useful information. Please use the link and become a follower!
In light of the tragic event that occurred in Bangkok on August 17, a message was sent to all the registered delegates that we were going ahead with the conference in Bangkok. A copy of this message is available here.
Time to take ULD CARE. We hope you will be part of the conversation and make this year’s conference the best ever.
