SAFO 13005

The FAA issued a Safety Alert for Operators, SAFO 13005, which contains a considerable amount of guidance regarding the restraint of heavy loads during flight.

The FAA issued a Safety Alert for Operators, SAFO 13005 titled “Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 121 Air Carriers Transporting Heavy Vehicle Special Cargo Loads” on May 17. This document, which may be downloaded from the FAA website contains a considerable amount of guidance regarding the restraint of heavy loads during flight.
